Be sure to find a copy of our local business guide and use it to help find great local, independent businesses in the 3 counties of Western Massachusetts. The PDF of our current guide is now able to be downloaded through this website. Thank you for thinking local first.
Here in the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts we are blessed with great natural beauty and a vibrant local, living economy made up of independent businesses, wonderful family farms, educational institutions and active community organizations. It's a rich and diverse culture and one that Pioneer Valley Local First is dedicated to protecting and strengthening.
Since 2001 our mission is to encourage people to Think Local First so that they Buy and Bank Local First. Additionally, we encourage and support companies to be more socially, locally and environmentally responsible. We do this by showcasing great local companies and educating and encouraging Pioneer Valley citizens, community organizations, businesses and local governments about the benefits of doing business with locally owned, independent businesses.
